Nourishing and revitalizing activities include every kind of fun exercise you can think of including Nia, Cardio Funk, Zumba and 3 kinds of Yoga.



Fitness & Wellness Zone Schedule

12:30 - Hatha Flow Yoga
Grounding and invigorating, all-levels, yoga flow involving continuous movement and breath work, taught by Sireesha Chirala.
1:30 - Cardio Funk
Dance fitness class that brings simple hip hop inspired dance moves and combines them with high-intensity intervals and toning moves for a complete workout. Taught by Leslie Jordan.
2:30 - Nia Yoga - Dance Your Joy
Nia is a dynamic cardiovascular workout that draws from martial arts, dance arts like modern and jazz, and healing arts like yoga. Taught by Nia Training Faculty Member Julie Wylie.
3:30 - All Levels Vinyasa Yoga
Students of all levels are invited to come experience a flowing sequence of movement linked to the breath. Taught by Collette Hill.
4:30 - Funky Flow Yoga
Wiggle your asana to the sounds of Dumpstaphunk. Anna Langston will lead this high energy yoga session that is all levels friendly. Bring a towel.
5:30 - Zumba
Dance to rhythms such as salsa, merengue, cha-cha, hip hop and more. Just feel the music and have fun! It's a dance party and you're invited! Taught by Sabrina Wright.

Hatha Flow Yoga

Invigorating, all-levels, yoga flow. This grounding class will deepen your connection to the earth below you, the sky above you, and the energy within you. Class begins with a short meditation, then move with the breath, and end class with a guided savasana. Taught by Sireesha Chirala, an environmental lawyer and avid yogi.


Cardio Funk


Dance fitness class that brings simple hip hop inspired dance moves and combines them with high-intensity intervals and toning moves for a complete workout. Leslie Jordan Garcia will lead an easy-to-follow class with modifications to ensure any fitness or physical ability level can enjoy.

Nia Yoga - Dance Your Joy

 

Dance Your Joy - an Introduction to Nia with Nia Training Faculty Member Julie Wylie Nia is getting fit with movement. It is a dynamic cardiovascular workout that draws from martial arts, dance arts like modern and jazz, and healing arts like yoga. Class members move through a choreographed series of specific movements that leave participants feeling recharged, rejuvenated and fully alive. Nia is suitable for all levels of fitness from the person who wants to start moving again to the avid fitness buff. No previous experience is necessary. All fitness levels welcomed.


All Levels Vinyasa Yoga

 

Students of all levels are invited to come experience a flowing sequence of movement linked to the breath. Focus on your strength, endurance as you improve flexibility and balance. This class is taught by Collette Hill. Collette Hill is a RYT-500 level yoga instructor with a Masters in Curriculum and Instructional Leadership. In Collette’s class you’ll experience a light-hearted, dynamic and mindful flow-based practice. Bring your sense of adventure and a smile!

Zumba

 

Allow Sabrina to take you through a journey where you will not only improve your body's well being but also your mind. Zumba is a dance fitness craze where anyone from those with two left feet to those who've danced their whole lives can enjoy. All you have to do is keep moving!!! She will cue you through every song. We will dance rhythms such as salsa, merengue, cha-cha, hip hop and more. Just feel the music and have fun! It's a dance party and you're invited!
