Green BizAid Business Orientation:

Tools for Starting a Green Business in Austin

 

The City of Austin's Small Business Program is teaming up with the city's Office of Sustainability to offer a special workshop at Earth Day It's a combination of the BizAid Business Orientation and a run down of the business practices and policies that are evaluated when vetting potential members for the Green Business Leaders program. Attendees will get a general overview of opening a small business or re-evaluating an existing business during its growth. In this session, you will be informed of key questions to consider when developing your business and resources to take you to the next level, as well as how to make it green in the process.


Resume Coaching


Get your resume reviewed and fine tuned by job search professionals Bring your resume printed and/or on a flash drive to work with on with volunteers from Indeed.


Mentor Sessions


Register to attend 1-3 sessions with various green business and nonprofit leaders. Register in advance for the 7-8 minute sessions. Hosted by Austin EcoNetwork.
